It quickly took me into a private world. It \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan class=\"a-text-bold a-text-italic\"\u003eclearly portrays\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan class=\"a-text-italic\"\u003e the events that happened during the war and within the Jewish communities. At times, I had a hard time reading the events that happened but the story also had an underlying theme of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"a-text-bold a-text-italic\"\u003ehope, \u003cstrong\u003elove and perseverance\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan class=\"a-text-italic\"\u003e\"\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e –Goodreads Reviewer\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan class=\"a-text-bold\"\u003eHide Karl in plain sight.\u003cbr\u003eThat was the idea.
